NAPA Names intellicents’ Mandie Scott 2020 Top Woman Advisor
The National Association of Plan Advisors has released their 6th annual list of our nation’s Top
Mandie Scott – financial consultant at intellicents – was honored as one of the leading Female Advisor “Captains” in our industry. An advisor “Captain” is an all-star advisor who also is a principal – owner within their organization.
In addition to serving as an advisor to some of our largest clients, Mandie’s fingerprints are all over virtually every new initiative intellicents rolls out in their mission to serving the underserved. In 2020, Mandie took the lead in implementing intellicents bioni(k) managed accounts in partnership with Morningstar and some of our industry’s largest recordkeeping providers such as Empower and Schwab. Already, clients are embracing bioni(k) including making the managed account the QDIA for all plan participants.
“We are so thrilled to have Mandie as a part of our expanding ownership group within intellicents,” said Grant Arends – President of Retirement Services. “Mandie started with the organization as part of our administration team, earned her QPA, and QKA designations, and now helps lead our entire retirement consulting practice. We would not successfully execute on the plethora of new services we offer to our clients without her work on making our dreams a reality for our clients.”
More than 550 nominations were provided by NAPA’s extensive list of broker-dealer and RIA Firm Partners. Nominees were, in turn, asked to respond to a series of quantitative and qualitative questions regarding their experience, education, team structure, accomplishments, and impact. Those responses were anonymized and then reviewed by a blue-ribbon panel
of industry experts who, over the course of several weeks, selected the individuals honored.
“We are pleased and proud to be able to once again acknowledge the fine and important work that these women advisors such as Mandie have done to help provide a better retirement for their clients, employers and individual retirement savers alike,” said Nevin E. Adams, Chief Communications Officer of the American Retirement Association, and Editor-in-Chief of NAPA-Net. To learn more about Mandie, check out her bio on the intellicents website here.
