At intellicents, Alex focuses on guiding the firm’s investment strategy—helping shape how portfolios are constructed, monitored, and evolved over time. He helps lead the firm’s investment and asset allocation efforts across both Wealth Management and Retirement Plan divisions.
Alex’s approach is grounded in understanding how markets actually work, combining economic insight, behavioral psychology, and real-world experience to inform better decision-making. He focuses on bringing clarity to complexity, helping translate market dynamics into thoughtful, long-term strategies.
Alex has been in the industry since 2010, with experience spanning institutional investing, retirement plans, personal wealth, and trust clients. Prior to joining intellicents, he held roles at State Street and DeMarche Associates, and most recently built the research and due diligence team at Arvest Wealth Management from the ground up. He holds both the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst® (CAIA) designations.

I enjoy helping people understand how financial markets work and what that means for their future. There’s a lot of complexity behind the scenes, and being able to break that down and find solutions that fit each client’s needs is what makes the work meaningful. Knowing they can move forward with confidence—and sleep better at night—because they have a trusted partner in their corner is incredibly rewarding.
this is how i make it real
I try to stay balanced by spending time with my wife, Bailey, our yellow lab, Rudy, and friends and family. I also enjoy traveling, going to concerts, attempting to play guitar, and catching as many Kansas City and Kansas State University sporting events as possible—especially the Chiefs.
