my idea of

living the dream

First and foremost, spending more time with my family and friends. I hit the jackpot with my wife, my best friend and constant supporter, and we love traveling, seeing new places, experiencing adventures together, spending time with and helping our three wonderful children in their new lives as adults. We are grandparents soon to be also! So the time to exercise with my wife when we want, spend more time together, spend much more time with and help complete projects for our adult children, form relationships with grandchildren, volunteer more, and see as much of the world as we can, which we have enjoyed starting to do the past year and a half, all combine into my idea of living the dream.

this is my

Building trusting relationships, really that’s it. Whether it is working with a client’s retirement plan committee, meeting a potential client for the first time, working with someone individually to assess where they stand “on the road to retirement”, I want the foundation of these relationships to be built on trust, want those I help to walk away knowing and saying, he is trustworthy. I try and really get to know them, beyond a business relationship. Without that, what else do you have? It is the foundation of all good ends in my opinion.

this is how i

make it real

I have always tried to keep health a priority, so try to eat right and enjoy exercising with my wife who also has these same goals and enjoyment of exercise. Love to travel, and my wife pushed me here; two trips to Europe under our belt in a twelve-month period, and just love it; love the history I learn through travel, from which I believe we gain better insight into our own humanity. We continue to grow in our adult to adult relationships with our three great children, and son and daughter in law. Blessed beyond all imaginings with our three children and their spouses. They are the results, I always tell everyone, of the most loving, giving mother one could have. I do try and read more, continue to dabble with the guitar and piano, and having completed remodeling projects on two complete basements, three bathrooms, painted our own house’s exteriors three times, I am never afraid of a fix up project, I enjoy the satisfaction gained through that process too. Really, this sums it up.
