Brittany Penninngton joined intellicents in 2024 and serves as an Administrative Assistant for our Family Office division out in our Overland Park, KS office. Her duty at intellicents is to support clients, but also intellicents teammates to ensure that all loose ends are tied.
Prior to joining intellicents, Brittany worked as a School Psychologist for 10 years and then transitioned into the world of Finance as an advisor with Waddell & Reed. Life moved her family away from her hometown, so Brittany decided to stay at home with her kids and homeschool. After a bit, she decided to take on a part time remote role and was paired with teammate, Kenny Burkhead, and has helped him service his Personal CFO clients here at intellicents.

Brittany graduated from Fort Hays State University with a B.S. in Psychology, a minor in Sociology, a M.S. in Psychology, an Ed.S. in School Psychology, and an M.B.A. in Finance.

When I decided to go back to work after taking a 2-year hiatus, I made sure to put my priorities first. This allows me to live my dream every day. I work remotely with a flexible schedule which allows me to continue homeschooling my kids and do the things I love.

Outside of the office, I spend most of my hours outdoors with my husband and two kids. We live in a rural area near Wilson Lake and have a few animals. Hunting, fishing, gardening, and riding dirt bikes are a daily occurrence.
