Matt Twedt joined intellicents in 2018 and serves as the President of Wealth Management, leading the direction and formation of the ever-growing financial planning team. Matt brings over a decade of industry experience primarily focusing on assisting individuals to develop and maintain a comprehensive financial strategy. He concentrates on identifying his clients' goal and objectives, then works towards developing, implementing and maintaining a comprehensive financial strategy.
Prior to joining intellicents, Matt joined his father, Joel, at Twedt Financial Services, Inc. in 2008 which grew to have over $110 million in assets under management. In 2010, Matt received his Certified Financial Planner™ designation, and in 2011 he received his Financial Services Specialist designation from The American College, Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. He is also a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and the MDRT.

Matt graduated from Minnesota State University where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree, Summa Cum Laude with a Major in Finance with emphasis on Financial Planning and Insurance, and holds the following designations and has previously passed securities exams:

I love meeting new people and families, as well as learning more about them and what made them who they are. Helping them prioritize their goals and wants in life and putting a plan together is challenging and fun. Then seeing that plan come together and being a witness to it is extremely rewarding.

I enjoy watching all things Iowa State, but most of my free time is spent doing something outside with my wife and three children, Madison, Allison, and Emerson.
