Sam Matheson joined intellicents in 2014 after valuing his time with the firm as an intern throughout college. As a Consultant, he works directly with client companies and their employees to provide retirement consulting services. These duties include plan design and investment management to plan sponsors as well as providing education and investment advice to plan participants.
In 2016, Sam took a sabbatical from intellicents and spent a year teaching English in northern Spain’s wine country. This experience enabled Sam to improve his Spanish language skills and have meaningful cultural experiences while traveling Spain and other regions of Europe. Sam’s fluency in Spanish has made him an asset in retaining and servicing intellicents’ many clients who have Spanish-speaking workforces.

Sam graduated from Luther College where he received a B.A. in Management and Spanish with a Certificate in International Management Studies, and has previously passed securities exams:
