my intellicent summer

Jack Buendorf is a Sophomore at St. Olaf College majoring in Economics and Mathematics with a concentration in Finance. He held the honor of being intellicents' very first intern in the Summer of 2018 and left us with this message...

While I reflect on my summer with intellicents, appreciation grows with every example of learning and experience gained. The opportunity to work in a small, growing firm has allowed me to surround myself with driven, smart, and nurturing people.

I was able to work side by side with consultants, picking up on incredible client interaction skills, portfolio allocations, and even getting a glimpse at intellicents’ new robo-product, “bionic advisor.” intellicents truly feels like a team, with each member willing to help the other. This always gives value and meaningfulness to every task, creating an addictive atmosphere that is both fun and productive. It showed me the unequivocal benefits and advantages of working on a dedicated, quality team.

For the future, I learned the new business model and direction of the firm. I believe intellicents will excel in Personal Finance Management by utilizing talented professionals, the “bionic advisor,” and expansion across the nation.

I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I hold the highest respect for all members of intellicents and the passion and care they have for clients, the team, and their communities. Unquestionably and pridefully, I will carry with me all things taken from the experience.
