The Kansas City office of intellicents has made another exciting expansion to their blossoming Personal Financial Management division with the addition of Scott Wightman, Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA).

Scott joins the team along with the recent addition of Nick Madl. “Scott brings an invaluable investment pedigree and operations background to intellicents,” says Grant Arends, President of Retirement Services. “Our mission is to combine smart people coupled with great technology to reimagine financial services. Scott fills that definition completely. Combining Scott’s and Nick’s skill sets together will be a differentiator within our market.”

Prior to joining intellicents, Scott worked as a financial analyst for Sprint and Adknowledge. Most recently, he worked for American Century Investments providing consultative support to financial advisors on investment products offered through American Century. In addition, Scott earned his Charter Financial Analyst® (CFA) designation in 2017 and is a member of the Kansas City CFA Society.

Now as the Chief Investment Officer for the intellicents Personal Financial Management Services, Scott’s responsibilities will include monitoring and overseeing investment and asset allocation policy. In addition to his responsibilities as CIO of Personal Financial Management Services, he will work as a consultant to plan sponsors and personal financial management clients for intellicents in Kansas City.

“One of the Personal Financial Management offerings that drew me to intellicents is the intellicents bionic advisor™,” said Wightman. “The intellicents bionic advisor™ offers clients a choice between a series of custom managed portfolios funded via low cost exchange traded funds (ETF’s). As a member of intellicents, I will be a key team leader in the human part of this service helping to manage our portfolios offered to clients.”

intellicents has now added over 15 Personal Financial Advisors. This has resulted in muscling up the staff at existing locations, as well as opening new offices throughout the country. “Whether it is continuing to grow our Kansas City office or adding more people and more offices, we are just getting started...” added Brad Arends, CEO of intellicents.
