The Kansas City office of intellicents continues to add to its team with the addition of Kara Walters as a Relationship Manager within the retirement division.

Kara is the fifth addition to the Kansas City team in just the last few months. She comes with over 14 years of industry experience, bringing expertise in both the non-qualified deferred compensation space and servicing qualified retirement plan clientele. Specifically, her role will include assisting with new client onboarding, provider RFP management, participant education and advice, implementation of customized client financial wellness programs, and client fiduciary/investment reviews.

“One of our core values at intellicents is our insistence that we accept nothing less than putting out A Papers,” said Grant Arends, President of Retirement Services at intellicents. “Our Kansas City office is experiencing tremendous growth. Therefore, adding someone of Kara’s experience assures that we continue to exceed client expectations while managing our growth.”

“I elected to make the move and join intellicents for two reasons,” stated Walters. “First, their work environment is totally collaborative. The energy and excitement makes coming to work fun every day. Second, the intellicents team wasn’t kidding when they prided themselves on being pioneers within the industry. Everyday feels like there is something new as intellicents continues to strive to be leaders within our industry.”

“Our Kansas City office continues to rapidly grow its retirement plan client base,” said Arends. “In addition, the firm is seeing great growth in their Personal Financial Management department, as well as implementing customized financial wellness programs for clients. Expect many more new team members in the future.”
