New York, NY -  intellicents has been recognized as one of the 2022 Best Places to Work in Money Management.

Presented by Pensions & Investments, the global news source of money management, the 11th annual survey and recognition program is dedicated to identifying and recognizing the best employers in the money management industry.

“Our company has a stated ‘just cause’ of improving the financial well-being of the American worker that it lives every day. With our growth, it is an exciting place to work.  This organization has an initiative to help the average worker succeed through their working careers and throughout retirement. It’s exciting to work for a company that tries to better the lives of every individual it interacts with,” expressed various employees when interviewed about the work environment.

On top of a distinct mission that employees pride themselves in, intellicents also provides some differenciating benefits and “cool things” that resulted in this recognition. During summer months, intellicents closes at noon on Fridays to provide employees an additional half-day to their weekend. Each year, leadership rolls out a “3 wishes” campaign where every employee submits 3 wishes they would like to see fulfilled in the year to come. Wishes are broken up amongst groups consisting of all employees and the firm votes on the top 3 wishes to work towards. Additionaly, intellicents has added an internal WEOW (Women Empowering Other Women) group that provides a monthly opportunity for all women in their firm to come together and discuss both professional and personal topics to encourage success + growth.

“As their employees attest, the companies named to this year’s Best Places to Work list demonstrate a commitment to building and maintaining a strong workplace culture,’’ said P&I Executive Editor Julie Tatge. “Even as firms grappled with volatile markets and stresses from the pandemic, their employees said they felt strong support from their managers, enabling them to do their best work.’’

“Pensions & Investments is proud to honor the Best Places to Work in Money Management for the 11th year. A strong workplace culture that supports talent, advocates progress and drives innovation is paramount to driving the best outcomes and these asset managers demonstrate that. Congratulations to the 2022 honorees for fostering healthy and inclusive workplaces in the face of a rapidly evolving and challenging market,” said Chief Operating Officer, Nikki Pirrello.

“We implemented the intellicents business plan in 2016 with less than 20 employees.  It’s an aggressive plan centered on attracting great people from around the United States, and supporting them with a platform of great technology, and a culture of teamwork.  Quality, innovation, courage, passion, and collaboration are the core values that we live by,” stated Co-Founder and CEO of intellicents Brad Arends. “Today we are over 60 teammates in nine locations and growing in a pioneering environment that is willing to be first.”

Pensions & Investments partnered with Best Companies Group, a research firm specializing in identifying great places to work, to conduct a two-part survey process of employers and their employees. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. This part of the process was worth approximately 25% of the total evaluation. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. This part of the process was worth approximately 75% of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the top companies.
