intellicents continues to add to its deep bench of some of the top retirement advisors in the industry with the addition of Brandon Budd.

Budd joins the Kansas City office after working at national 401(k) Plan providers, The Standard and Transamerica. Budd’s experience with national providers adds to the broad diversity and professional expertise in the retirement plan space that includes CFAs, CFPs, AIF designees, and Qualified Plan and 401(k) Administrators.

intellicents’ clients in the Kansas City marketplace have access to an onsite professional staff with expertise in all areas of 401(k) service delivery model that includes investment management, fiduciary governance, plan design, compliance, and most importantly – participant services that include advice, financial wellness and financial planning.

“Brandon is one of the most experienced, knowledgeable, and just plain likeable people in the 401(k) Kansas City community,” said Grant Arends, President of retirement plan services for all intellicents’ locations. “His knowledge and experience bring instant credibility and added capacity to our ever growing client base, and his personality provides an instant connection with plan sponsors and plan participants.”

In addition to helping attract new clients to the firm, Budd intends to work with the Personal Financial Management team at intellicents as the firm expands its services to offer full financial planning and portfolio management services to participants.

“One of the things that attracted me most to intellicents is their absolute passion and mission of helping retirement plan participants with all aspects of their financial health,” said Budd. “The intellicents university® participant education and advice curriculum that includes corporate sponsored financial wellness coupled with offering fee based financial planning services as an employee benefit is such a different, unique and needed service model. These services combined with the incredibly experienced and qualified Kansas City team made this decision to join intellicents an easy one.”
