The National Association of Plan Advisors has announced their list of 2023 “Aces”: Top 100 Retirement Plan Advisors Under 40. Brandon Budd – financial consultant at intellicents – was honored as one of the leading “Aces” in our industry.  These “Aces" are widely seen as the future leaders of the retirement plan advisor industry.

“It’s clear I’m not alone in saying Brandon is one of the most knowledgeable 401(k) advisors in our industry,” emphasized Grant Arends, intellicents Co-Founder and President of Retirement Services.  “What makes him so successful is that he is also one of the most likable! Plan sponsors and plan participants just gravitate towards Brandon because of his authenticity coupled with his ability to take a sometimes confusing or ‘boring’ subject matter and make it engaging and FUN.”

Brandon Budd joined intellicents in 2018 with a background in investments and corporate retirement plans, quickly becoming one of their most successful adivisors from both a firm revenue and client satisfaction standpoint. “This is my dream job,” said Budd. “Being able to help people and watch the impact these important decisions have on them and their family is very rewarding to me.  I’ve always enjoyed building relationships and helping people reach their goals, no matter what that is.  Having an opportunity to do that working with some of the best colleagues and clients makes every day at work a dream!”

Nearly 700 nominations were provided by NAPA’s extensive list of broker-dealer and RIA Firm Partners. Nominees were, in turn, asked to respond to a series of quantitative and qualitative questions regarding their experience, education, team structure, accomplishments, and impact. Those responses were anonymized and then reviewed by a blue-ribbon panel of industry experts who, over the course of several weeks, selected the individuals honored.

“One of the first of NAPA’s standard-setting industry lists, many of the individuals who have been recognized here have gone on to become the very industry leaders this recognition was designed to help identify,” stated Nevin E. Adams, Chief Communications Officer of the American Retirement Association, and Editor-in-Chief of NAPA-Net. “We offer our heartiest congratulations to this year’s Top Retirement Plan Advisors Under 40—and for all you have done, and will continue to do, for the many plans, plan sponsors and plan participants you support.”

“I am very fortunate to be recognized with my peers for this,” emphasized Budd after accepting this title. “It really is a reflection on all my great teammates at intellicents and our mission to ‘over-serve the Underserved.’  Thank you to all our clients that put their trust in us to help them and their employees reach a fully funded retirement.”
