The Kansas City office of intellicents continues to expand its fee-based wealth management and financial planning services with the addition of Nick Madl.

Grant Arends, President of Retirement Services at intellicents, commented, “intellicents has now been working in the Kansas City area for 20 years, providing 401(k) fiduciary investment advisory services to some of the communities leading employers and their participants. Our mission is to help the American worker make their financial dreams real. Our primary focus has always been getting participants to retirement. Nick will help lead our team in delivering a more holistic financial planning approach to helping them both get to and through retirement."

Prior to joining intellicents, Nick spent two years with Charles Schwab helping individual investors and high net worth families reach their financial planning goals, followed by five years at American Century Investments where he earned his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation. He was recognized by American Century by receiving their top performance awards in 2015, 2016, and 2017. In addition, in 2017 Nick received American Century’s top accolade as a distinguished member of their Circle of Honor, recognizing the top 20 performers across the entire organization.

“I knew that once I gained enough corporate experience that I would pursue my passion for working with individual investors with a fee-based investment advisory firm," said Madl. “I was thrilled when an opportunity presented itself at intellicents. Their commitment to combining cutting-edge technology with top talent is exactly where our industry is headed. Applications like their allmymoney financial wellness app and the intellicents bionic advisor combine both people smarts with great technology, which is exactly what most investors are looking for today. Innovators like intellicents are the future of our industry."

“We feel so fortunate to have Nick join our Kansas City team, and he is just the first of several key additions that are on the horizon," added Arends. “Our business plan is to add wealth managers and financial planners in key cities such as Kansas City, where we have a large population of 401(k) participants. Other areas of imminent expansion include Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Des Moines and Pella Iowa, Minneapolis, St. Paul, Rochester, and Mankato, Minnesota.”
